carl stimson, L.AC.

Carl was raised in the wide-open spaces of the American West, and throughout his youth benefited from the fresh air and abundant physical activity these areas provide.   Leaving the USA at age 21, Carl spent nearly five years living in Asia and then three years in graduate school back in the states.  During graduate school, Carl studied the natural healing methods of China and Japan and how the theories of harmony, so prominent in Eastern thought, could be translated into practical techniques and habits that can be easily adopted to transform health and prevent disease.   During his final year living in Beijing, Carl studied with a renowned "Old Doctor" of Chinese medicine who specialized in helping cancer patients deal with the difficulties of treatment and recovery
using Acupuncture and Herbal Medicine.  Carl is also interested and experienced in the treatment of women's health problems, pain syndromes, digestive disorders, and helping those who suffer from mild or severe mental-emotional distress.
